Your account

You sign in with an email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your email secure. Give me accurate information, especially about allergens and diets, because your plan depends on it. You must be at least 18 to hold an account.

What you may do

I give you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the site, the library and the recipes for your own cooking and learning. You may print recipes and shopping lists for your own kitchen.

You may not copy, resell or redistribute the library, the recipes or the plans. You may not scrape the site, try to break its security, or use it to harm other people. You may not share your account with people outside your household.

My content

The library, the recipes, the taste profile, the plans and the design are mine or used with permission. The recipes are written in my own words. Ideas and techniques belong to everyone, and the expression of them here belongs to me. Nothing on the site transfers any ownership to you.

What you give me

What you send me, such as profile answers or messages, stays yours. You give me permission to use it to run the site and to build your plan, as described in the privacy policy.

Membership and payment

Membership is $15 a month, with a free first week. The price, the billing frequency and the renewal terms are in the subscription terms, and you will see them before you pay.

Food safety

Cooking carries risk: knives, heat, raw food and allergens. Read the health disclaimer. You cook at your own risk and use your own judgment about what is safe for you and the people you feed.

The site changes

I may add, change or remove features, recipes and content. I may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided as is. I work hard to be accurate, but I do not promise it is free of errors, or that it is always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited, or my responsibility for my own fraud or willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts in California, and you and I consent to that.

Changes and contact
